Dear Dawn,

I would love to see photos. You can send them to my regular email account naturallytreated@earthlink.net

Good luck with the surgery. I will be praying for your son and family on the 23rd.

I can't believe it has been a year since I put a photo on the site. I need to update it!

Blessings,

Rachel.

My daughter born at 28 weeks, caught MRSA in the NICU. Ultimately the infection damaged her growth plates and her right leg is already 2 inches shorter. She will be 3 in october. We are going see dr paley on June 9th and I need some heads up. I just want to know from a mother to a mother how this effected ya'll life. I have Emma's story that i want to email to you. Also, I seen that he did surgeries on younger children. Is there a reason that he waited until Jacob was 6 to perform the surgery. I guess it is depends on the case. Our sugeon in New Orleans, two hours east of us told us the only option was amputation. I did not except the diagnosis and instanly became proactive to find a doctor that could help Emma. Any advice would help.

Hi,
I met you at physical therapy with my son Jesse who had a leg lengthening in June. He is 12 yrs. old and we talked with you about all the surgeries he has had. Hope you remember us (my 9 yr. old Victoria, was with us as well). Great news that you are almost done! Jesse will have surgery Jan. 23 to remove his fixator. I had told you I would send a picture of Jesse comparing his start date to current, but I can't figure out how to attach here. So email me if still interested. Maybe our paths will cross in Baltimore again. Best wishes with everything! Dawn Rause

Jacob truly is a hero, so brave and courageous! Please know that all of you will be in our prayers for a safe trip, successful surgery and quick recovery.
We will miss seeing you on the block and I will miss our Thursday morning walks, but we will keep in touch and then pick up where we left off upon your return.
Thank you for this wonderful website to keep up with what is going on with you all. Best Wishes!
